Cheryl turned 1 year old on May 12th. We celebrated her birthday in US on May 11th because in Malaysia, that would be her actual birthday. It was just a simple dinner at home with her 3 special guests: Daddy, Mummy and Grandma. I was kinda sad that we didn’t get to celebrate her 1st birthday a little more extravagantly since all our friends are back home in Malaysia. But hopefully, we will be able to make it up to her for her 2nd birthday (though Daddy says it’s more for Mummy rather than her :P). Since Cheryl only had the 3 of us there to celebrate her big day with her, we decided not to bake a whole cake but rather went with cupcakes instead. This is Cheryl’s first experience eating cupcakes so we decided to make it taste a little more familiar; hence Banana Cupcakes without egg whites. Cheryl loved it so much that she discarded her porridge and ate more than half of a cupcake. Mummy hopes she doesn’t develop a sweet tooth after this. Here are some pictures taken on her birthday.
“Blessed 1st Birthday, dear Cheryl. Daddy and Mummy loves you very much”
