Chef in the House

If you noticed, 90% of all the blog posts are written by Sharon and I think it’s my turn now to pen some thoughts to it. After thinking of what to write, I guess I will blog on the wonderful food or meals that my lovely wife had been cooking and feeding me for the past month. Yes, her goal for this US assignment is to make me put on a few kilos before the end of our stay here.

I’m indeed blessed to have a wife who knows how to cook. One thing for sure is she will usually try out new recipes and not the usual Malaysian style of dishes. In Hokkien you can call it the ‘ang moh’ type of dishes. For those non-Hokkien readers it means Western type of dishes.  We are not so much of a rice person so it’s definitely much easier to get raw ingredient the ‘ang moh’ style rather than the Asian cooking.

Some of  her cookings are “Macaroni Pie”, “Shepherd’s Pie”, “Meat Loaf” and “Baby Back Ribs” to name a few. Yes, I know some of you are already raising your eyebrow. I’m indeed blessed to have a chef in the house. 🙂

Thanks darling once again for cooking all these wonderful dishes everyday. So how much weight have I gained? We’ll see.
